On the evening before her birthday, Himeko confides in her devoted childhood friend and servant Keita about having a fiancé, leading him to recall and fulfill a long-forgotten promise between them. Through his thoughtful actions, he bridges the gap in their relationship. At the same time, Yamato enjoys the start of his romance with Nadeshiko but worries about his feelings until an invitation to stay the night after studying allows her to show her true, less reserved nature.
