In the peaceful grounds of Kyoukasen Girls' School, known as the Water School for its forest setting and central lake, Shun arrives to take up his position as the only male teacher. He soon meets several students who have withdrawn from others after difficult experiences, each lacking confidence and carrying unspoken burdens. Through quiet talks near the water, he begins to earn their trust and offers steady support to help them look ahead. As the day closes, Shun resolves to assist these young women in finding renewed purpose and direction.
