In the fractured landscape left by World War II, rival factions battle for control across a divided Japan. This episode introduces a small band of women guarded by a unit of soldiers, both groups isolated deep inside hostile territory after losing contact with their main force. As threats close in from every side, the survivors must chart a perilous route back through contested lands. Their only hope lies in reaching safety before the surrounding conflict consumes them.
