Following the devastation in Azuma, the survivors continue their journey aboard a futuristic tank toward Osaka, determined to confront the Overfiend and fulfill their destinies. Along the route they discover a hidden realm where children dominate the adults through fear, compelling Amano Jyaku to rescue his companions from the sinister ruler Ellis. Soon after, Yoenhime summons Munhihausen, who grants her formidable power for revenge, though his own motives stay concealed. The travelers now approach the long-awaited climax in Osaka.
